The
Andaman & Nicobar group is a cluster of
islands that are a union territory of India
and are situated in the Bay of Bengal, 1000 km
off the east coast of India. The rocky area
near the sea is a bit risky so traveling is
restricted in that area. Tours to some of the
Andaman and Nicobar islands, which are open to
tourists, are a feast to the eyes with their
lush green flora, exquisite fauna, lovely
beaches and widespread lagoons enclosed by
exotic coral reefs. You can travel to the
Andaman and Nicobar islands by Air or by Sea
from Calcutta or Chennai, on mainland India.
